Charted to carry workmen to the sites of the new aqueduct being built from the Trough of Bowland to the reservoirs in Longridge.
The Photo was taken near Whitewell.
The bus is a Ribble Leyland Tiger LTI- Supplied in 1929.

Dilworth Bottoms, White Carr Bobbin Mill, |
The mill was built about 1850 by James Bennett. It was destroyed by a fire c. 1887, was rebuilt and worked until about 1908 when it was abandoned. By 1913 it was in ruins. At its peak the mill drove 5 circular saws and 22 lathes, employing 41 men.
