The Heritage and Visitor Centre is situated in the centre of Longridge by the old Preston and Longridge Railway line, which operated from 1840 to 1967. The former station has been thoughtfully converted to house the Heritage and Visitor Centre, along with a cafe and meeting rooms for hire.
Currently we are developing the on-line photographic archive and it should be back shortly, but a selection of historic photographs can be found under the "Archives" section.
Whilst the development is going on why not try the new search facility by searching on the sample photographs provided in the archives? You can always visit the office during opening times or phone in to have a look at our corridor exhibitions. Why not browse the extensive volumes of over 4000 photographs?
The meeting room can now only be booked by contacting Longridge Town Council. Any enquiries for availability should be directed to the clerk for the town council -
