The Trust has two main objectives:
- To advance the involvement and education of the public in the historical heritage of Longridge and its surrounding villages by:
Collecting and preserving artefacts and documents relating to the area;
Maintaining an up to date on-line photographic archive for Longridge;
Collecting and publishing associated information, including oral and written records;
Providing an educational resource by staging exhibitions, talks and other events.
- To provide an open space / garden area to the benefit of the inhabitants of Longridge and its surrounding area.
